However, reliable operation also depends on the capabilities of the USB host controller used by your computer, laptop, or Raspberry Pi. Available USB bandwidth and power delivery can vary significantly between systems.
For the highest level of reliability, I recommend connecting each camera module directly to its own USB port whenever possible. If additional ports are required, use a powered (active) USB hub rather than a passive hub.
This configuration provides the best chance of stable operation and long-term reliability.
